A standard flag is a rectangular shape available in sizes like 2x3, 3x5, 4x6, and 5x8.

What does single sided mean?

Single-sided means that the back is the reverse of the front. However, it is not blank. We also offer double-sided flags which are two flags sewn together with a vinyl mesh in the middle.

What is the difference between the double-sided economy and premium flags?

Our economy print is cheaper and made of softer material, ideal for indoor use or poles under 10 feet. This material lacks a liner in the middle. The premium material is less soft, contains a liner in the middle, and suits outdoor use or poles over 10 feet. However, it is heavier and requires more wind for visibility.

Does the custom standard flag come with poles?

By default, the flag does not come with poles, but they can be added separately.

What can I print on my custom standard flag?

Custom flags offer vast printing possibilities! You can feature your own logo, photo, or a combination of colors.

Does the front and back have to be the same?

The front and back designs can differ. If you have different colors on both sides, note that one side will have a small snippet of the opposite color.

How long does a custom standard flag take?

Once the order is paid and approved, production for 1-4 items takes 3 business days. Shipping then requires 3-5 business days.

What material are your custom standard flags made of?

Our custom standard flags are made of a polyester blend.

Does a custom standard flag come with sleeves or grommets?

Our standard 3×5 flag is made from polyester and available as a single or double-sided design. These flags are of high quality and can be used both indoors and outdoors. You can choose virtually any color, image, or logo. Our flags are totally customizable. These flags work great for:

We make our flags from polyester (available in single or double-sided options). Double-sided flags are two flags sewn together, featuring mesh in the middle. This mesh makes it so the design won’t show through to the other side.

Your custom 3×5 flags can have grommets, a pole sleeve, or both for easy hanging. You can also choose to do neither. In that case, we’ll hem the flag all the way around.

Feather Flag Nation can’t offer exchanges or refunds on custom items. The item’s condition is final once you approve the design. We don’t offer warranties. However, we may offer free repairs if the product damage isn’t too severe.

Why provide two material options for your custom 3x5 flags?

Customers have two material choices for standard customized flags: economy and premium. Economy flags are soft and don't have a middle liner. That makes these flags ideal for indoor use or lighter applications. Economy flags are best for poles 10 feet or shorter.

Premium flags have a vinyl mesh in the middle. They're also slightly heavier than our economy materials. These flags are ideal to use outdoors. Additionally, they're suitable for driving at up to 30 MPH. They're best suited for poles over 10 feet tall.

How heavy is the double-sided custom 3x5 flag?

Feather Flag Nation's economy flags weigh about 1-1.5 lbs. Our premium double-sided flags weigh around 2.5 lbs. Premium flags feature a central liner, requiring stronger winds for proper flying.

Yes, absolutely! We send proofs and make changes you request to the proof at no charge.

The possibilities are endless! Choose your preferred colors, fonts, and assets for your personalized flags. You can also use your own logos and even photos! If you plan to import images, we recommend using high-resolution files. Feather Flag Nation also lets you submit your own art. Please use our templates and refrain from altering them. If you're unsure how to proceed, feel free to share what you have, and one of our designers will gladly help you create the perfect flag design.

Does the price change if I add photos or any other elements?

Feather Flag Nation doesn't calculate customer costs based on individual letters, words, or colors on your ordered flag. We determine our pricing by what you order. For example, a 2×3 custom-made flag won't cost the same as a 3×5 personalized flag.

Do you offer embroidered flags?

Feather Flag Nation doesn't currently offer embroidered flags, banners, or other signs.

What is the lifespan of a custom 3x5 flag?

Our high-quality flags typically last 6 to 12 months or more. When not in use, Feather Flag Nation recommends storing your neatly folded flags at room temperature. Displaying your flag in direct sunlight or adverse weather conditions can drastically reduce your flag's lifespan.

Will sun exposure fade the flag?

Feather Flag Nation designs its flags for outdoor use. Fading won't be a problem if you use them at a few events per year. Prolonged exposure to outdoor elements will fade your flags as time passes. However, our company uses high-quality ink to lessen the effects of sun-related fading.

For long-term outdoor use, personalized 3×5 flags will fade over time due to prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Fading, in this case, is unavoidable, but we use high-quality ink to minimize its effects. While most customized flags fade within a few months, ours usually last anywhere from 9 to 12 months under similar conditions.

Can I request an odd shape?

Yes, we can usually finish the flag in various ways. Let us know how you want your flag to be finished, and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Do you have hardware for custom 3x5 flags?

We provide three hardware options for our flags, two of which include poles with mounts.

Economy Set: Identifiable by its eagle top and lower price point. Recommended for short-term use with customized flags.

Premium Set: Features a sphere on top and a sturdier mount for a tangle-free experience.

Questions About Shipping

Where do you ship from?

Custom items ship from Riverside, California. However, if your order of 3×5 personalized flags contains stock or hardware, we may send some items from our warehouse in Georgia.

Who do you ship with?

It depends on the size of your order. We ship with either USPS or UPS.

If I order a stock item, when will it ship?

Orders placed before 10 am PST should ship out that same day. Otherwise, we ship later orders on the next business day.

How fast is ground shipping?

It varies by state, typically taking three to five business days for your order to arrive.

Will I get a tracking number?

We send tracking numbers about 24 hours after your order ships. If you don't see our email, check your spam or junk mail folder.

What if I need to change my address after I place my order?

If you need to have your custom flags shipped to a different address, contact Feather Flag Nation right away. We can change orders if they haven't left our facility. Additional fees will apply if UPS or USPS has your package. Feather Flag Nation is unable to change orders once they're out for delivery.

What if there's something wrong with my product?

Once you get your flags, open your package as soon as possible. You only have five business days from when you received the item to let us know if something is wrong. If there is something wrong with your customized flags, email us at sales@featherflagnation.com with a photo and your order number.

Can I get rush shipping for my order of custom 3x5 flags?

Yes, we do offer rush shipping. If that's what you need, email us at sales@featherflagnation.com. Please include your complete shipping address, the items and quantities you need, and the date by which they are needed. If you place this order within our business hours, you should hear back from us the same day.

We also offer rush production. However, it will incur additional costs. This cost is determined by what you are ordering, the quantity, and how quickly you need the personalized flags done.
