Yard signs are typically what’s used for open houses and real estate agents. While those are great, we even make them custom, they don’t grab attention the same way a feather flag does. Our real estate feather flags are nearly twice as large as regular real estate signs. Where to Use a Real Estate Feather Flag
Feather flags can be used indoors or outdoors, depending on your needs. Our feather flag kits have the option for our ground spike or cross base. The ground spike can be pushed into grass or dirt while the cross base can be used on any flat surface (indoors or outdoors).
Using the ground spike, you’ll be able to set up your flags in the yards of the houses you’re trying to sell. By getting a custom flag, you can put your contact information on there, making it even easier for potential buyers to contact you!
How to Set Up Your Feather Flag
- Choose your location! Think about where you’ll be placing your feather flag and be sure you have the correct mounting hardware. For example, if you want to place the flag outside of a for-sale home, you’d need the ground spike. Our in-stock flags are single-sided, so you’ll want to make sure you place it somewhere that it will still read correctly.
- Place your mounting hardware. If you’re using the ground spike, you can easily push it into the grass or dirt. If you’re using the cross base, place it on the ground and be sure the legs make an X.
- Connect your pole pieces. Our pole kits telescope into each other with the thickest pole going on the bottom and then getting thinner as you go up. The poles have dimples on them that stop the other poles from sliding all the way through. Be sure those dimples are facing up when you slide your poles together.
- Put your flag on the poles. Starting from the top pole, gently slide your flag over the poles all the way down until it’s fully inserted. There will be additional poles showing on the bottom. If you ordered our tie-down clip, you can attach it to the bottom pole piece and tie the string of your flag to the clip. This is not necessary for assembly. If you have the pre-curved pole kit, the tie-down clip is not needed.
- Place the flag. Once you have the flag on the poles, all you need to do is slide the poles into the ground spike or cross base and let your flag fly!
